The Hope Lodge

This specific shot was taken at The American Cancer Society's McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge. I have been volunteering there for the past two years.

Since school started, my free time has dwindled down to about zero. But I just recently became in charge of managing the Facebook and Twitter pages for The American Cancer Society's McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge. In trying to shed light on this amazing place, I walked around the lodge taking pictures in hope of capturing what I love about the Hope Lodge. It was gorgeous; the pureness of the snow against the cardinal reminded me of what some of the 19th century Romantic writers would write about: how nature can be so breathtaking at some moments that you can't deny the spirituality of it.
